OUR BACKGROUND
Nile Organic Enterprises LTD (NOEL) is a Private Limited Liability Company, incorporated in Uganda in 2003. The company deals in the processing and distribution of millet, sorghum, maize and soya based products to produce assorted animal feeds, premixes, concentrates; Instant high nutritious blended cereal based human food for all ages and high energy drinks all based on organic production and processing.
In addition, NOEL will recycle rabbit manure, urine and other organic waste from neighboring factories and Njeru Municipality to produce Bio Hero organic fertilizer

NOEL MANAGEMENT TEAM
Our four founding members have over 10 years of combined work experience in Africa, with professional and educational backgrounds that span agribusiness, logistics and supply chain management, consulting, finance, marketing and business development, investment management and community mobilization.
Has over thirty years’ investment management experience, at Uganda Development Bank, where he handled many agricultural and agro processing projects in the country. He is well versed with operational and supply chain problems in Uganda. He served as a director at Ugachick Poultry Breeders, the largest local chicken breeder and processor in the country and at Kajjansi Roses, a Rose flower grower and exporter.
Matano. I. Kodawa holds a post graduate Diploma in Bakery Science and Management, Diploma in Public Health and Food Hygiene, Higher Diploma in Quality Control with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Food Processing. Mr. Kodawa has over 20 years working experience at Senior Management position in Food Preparation and Food Processing Operations in the UK, USA, Kenya and Uganda. He held various key positions in Food Manufacturing Companies from 1990- to date.
With over 40 years’ in food processing in Switzerland, Zambia and Botswana. He has a nack for product development. He has soldiered on at NOEL for the last eight years despite cash flow constraints. He is responsible for product development at NOEL.
Has skills in pasteurization, brining, salting, baking, caramelization. recipe formulation, product reformulation, branding, advertising, packaging (bottle filling, vacuum sealing, labelling, canning). He also has skills in quality assurance, nutrition and dietetics.
